Michelle Meyers

Michelle is a prose writer, playwright, and professor from Los Angeles. Her debut novel, Glass Shatters, was published by She Writes Press in 2016, and was selected as an Editor's Pick in Literary Fiction by Foreword Reviews and named a finalist in Literary Fiction by the USA Best Book Awards. Her fiction and creative nonfiction have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, The Adroit Journal, Juked, and Atticus Review, among others, and she has received honors from Glimmer Train, Wigleaf, and Ploughshares.

Michelle was a 2015 PEN Center Emerging Voices Fellow in Fiction. She received her BA in Literary Arts and Writing for Performance from Brown University and her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama. She is currently a professor in the Writing Program at the University of Southern California.
