Michelle Meyers
Michelle is a prose writer, playwright, and professor from Los Angeles. She published her debut novel, Glass Shatters, with She Writes Press in 2016, which was selected as an Editor’s Pick in Literary Fiction by Foreword Reviews and a finalist in Literary Fiction by the USA Best Book Awards. Her fiction and creative nonfiction have also been featured in the Los Angeles Times, The Adroit Journal, Juked, and Atticus Review, among others, and she has received honors from Glimmer Train, Wigleaf, and Ploughshares.
Meyers was a 2015 PEN Center Emerging Voices Fellow in Fiction. She received a B.A. in Literary Arts and Writing for Performance from Brown University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama. Currently, Meyers is a professor in the Writing Program at the University of Southern California.
